  • MBC Annual Sale Come join the fun at MBC Annual Sale (formerly known as Flea Market).  Friday and Saturday, June 22-23rd 9 am to 3 pm and Sunday, June 24th 9 am to noon.  Bake goods sold on June 22nd and 23rd.  Hamburgers for sale on Saturday June 23 from 11:30 to 1:30.  Sunday 9 am to Noon: $2.00 Bag Sale; Items that won’t fit in a bag, make offer.    Drop Off Donations for the Annual Sale at the MBC on:  Saturday, June 2, 9 and 16, 9 am-noon.  You can also bring donations by the week of June 18th from 9 am to 3 pm.

  • Lake Management District Update By now, you should have received a "notice of public hearing" regarding the Mason Lake, Lake Management District (LMD), scheduled for April 17, 2018.  This is one of the steps required for the continuation of current LMD, which expires at the end of this year.  After the public hearing, the Mason County Commissioners will make a decision on whether to go forward with the process.  If they elect to do so, Mason Lake residents will receive a ballot to vote yes or no on the new term of the LMD.  We are requesting $.11 per $1,000 assessed valuation ($500,000 home would amount to $55 per year), down from the current $.16 per $1,000 assessed.  The money collected ...
