  • 2017 MBC Scholarship Winner MBC Scholarship Chair, Randy Lindblad, presents to North Mason HS student, Alan Dumont.  There is a short video here.  Randy and Bonnie Linbald are matching the MBC $3000, making the scholarship fund $6000.  This year the North Mason HS student was the only MBC scholarship winner and received the entire amount for 2017.   We thank the Lindbald's for their generosity!

  • Luncheon & Fashion Show A Fashion, Accessory and Gift Show will be presented by Cameo Boutique, which is located in Union, WA near Alderbrook Resort.  Pam Hanson, owner, will be showing samples of her many fun fashions, accessories and beautiful and amazing decorating and gift items.  Cameo Boutique and Wine Shop is located at 6871 E State Route 106, Union, WA  98592.   • FEMA Flood Plain Review Draft flood map revisions in Mason County and what they mean for property owners will be discussed during a March 21 open house.The event begins at 6 p.m. at the North Mason High School Commons, 200 E. Campus Drive in Belfair. The open house will showcase the county’s hazard mitigation planning efforts and provide an opportunity for a multi-hazard risk discussion.The Federal Emergency Management Agency has issued preliminary maps showing revisions to the 100-year floodplain, which has a 1 percent chance of flooding in any year.

  • Renewal of LMD Just a heads up to all our Mason Lake waterfront owners:  The 10 year term of the Lake Management District #2 (LMD#2) which is responsible for the inspection and treatment of noxious plants in the lake, will expire at the end of this year.  In order to continue the work of the Milfoil/SAG commmittee in it's efforts to control and eliminate noxious plants in Mason Lake, an election to renew will need to occur later this year.  In order to have this election, we need to submit to the Mason County Commissioners signed petitions from lake front property owners on Mason Lake. Approx. 400 signatures (20% of lakefront owners) will be needed for the Commissioners to act ...
