FEMA Flood Plain ReviewDraft flood map revisions in Mason County and what they mean for property owners will be discussed during a March 21 open house.The event begins at 6 p.m. at the North Mason High School Commons, 200 E. Campus Drive in Belfair. Renewal of LMDJust a heads up to all our Mason Lake waterfront owners: The 10 year term of the Lake Management District #2 (LMD#2) which is responsible for the inspection and treatment of noxious plants in the lake, will expire at the end of this year. In order to continue the work of the Milfoil/SAG commmittee in it's efforts to control and eliminate noxious plants in Mason Lake, an election to renew will need to occur later this year. In order to have this election, we need to submit to the Mason County Commissioners signed petitions from lake front property owners on Mason Lake. Approx. 400 signatures (20% of lakefront owners) will be needed for the Commissioners to act ...
