  • Milfoil Status Report The 2015 Mason Lake Survey is available.  At this time I do not have a schedule for when Aquatechnex will be on the lake to treat the SAG, but will share when I get that info.  As far as the Yellow Flag Iris (YFI) we are still asking the homeowners to make the effort to remove.  Information on YFI will be included in the treatment mailer from Aquatechnex that is sent to all residents (including those not on the forum). • Burn ban effective until further notice The Mason County Community Development Director, as acting Fire Marshal, and in partnership with the Mason County  Fire Chiefs’ Association, has determined that current weather conditions within Mason County have created substantial fire dangers and that there is a need to enact restriction on outdoor burning to all lands regulated by Mason County.   This burn ban applies to all land clearing and yard debris outdoor burning. This ban does not apply to small recreational fires in established fire pits at approved campgrounds or private property with the owner’s permission.  The use of gas and propane self-contained stoves and barbecues will continue to be allowed under the ban.
