Here is a list of the planned events for 2019.  More details will be listed on the calendar as it gets closer to the event.


We encourage everyone to participate and to invite your lake community friends and neighbors while having fun at the same time!




General Meeting - 


       CANCELLED...St. Patrick's Day Dinner - Friday, March 20th.  Join us for              Corned Beef and Cabbage as we celebrate the day we're all Irish!

POSTPONED-Life Planning Seminar- Saturday, March 14 Attorney, Rick Biehl, will be presenting a FREE seminar on all things related to Elder Law: Wills/Trusts, Power of Attorneys, Health Care Directives, etc.  He will open the discussion to questions following his presentation.  4-6 pm at MBC FREE for MBC Members; small fee for others.

Painting Party- April 5 4-6 pm Join local art instructor, Gayle Beard. for an afternoon of fun and art.  $25 includes instruction, refreshments and materials.  Pre-register at

Potluck Dinner - April 19  6:00 social, 7:00 Dinner

Pancake Breakfast - Saturday 25th from 8-11 am.  We will be putting down some scrumptious cakes for the opening day of fishing season.  Could use kitchen help, table waiters, and cashier help. Contact Bill or Avis Rill to volunteer.

Mexican Dinner - Saturday, May 2  6-9 pm One of our favorite dinner 'theme nights' that everybody enjoys.  Come enjoy delicious Mexican cusine, music and maybe even some 'Salsa Dancing' lessons!  

Spring Cleaning - 9th, 9 a.m. - noon.  Light clean up from over the winter months. Contact: Nancy Starr 360-426-4833

The Underground Railroad Quilts: An evening of storytelling and paintings of quilts with art educator and artist, Gayle Beard. Saturday, May 16th, 1-3pm FREE!

Dance Classes - Find your dancing shoes!  Charles and Weihong Carol, will be here all summer and are willing teach dancing.  Depending on the interest, they are willing to continue into September. Check the calendar for specific dates and time but it usually from 2-3 pm on Tuesdays.  Please contact Jan Roney at 360.427.3129 or email at  Free!

Ladies Luncheon and Fashion Show
- Tuesday, June 9.   Join the other Ladies of the Lake for a great luncheon, fellowship and a peek at new summer fashions.  Register by calling or emailing Nancy Starr at 360.426.4833  or 

Flea Market
 - Set up starts on June 20 with the event running Saturday, June
28TH 9 am to 3 pm and Sunday, June 29TH 9 am to noon.  This is the club’s biggest fundraising event and takes the most time and effort to put together.  There are many positions needed for gathering, storage, pre-set up, organizing, pricing, selling, food service and final tear down.  Please give this major event consideration. Drop off dates are Saturdays 9-12 pm June 6, 13 and 20.  Please contact Bob Leslie at 360.621.6726 for more details or to help.

Boat Parade - 4th, 4 pm on Mason Lake - Starts at Calm Cove.  Is your boat decorated?

Potluck Dinner - July 17 6:00 pm Join others for a fun evening with neighbors.  BBQ RIBS WILL BE PROVIDED.  Bring a salad or dessert. Please RSVP to Darrell at 360.227.7922 

Boating Safety Class - tbd   This class will provide you with certification for a Washington State Boater Safety Card, mandatory for all boat and jet ski drivers.  To register for this class, call Lynn Murdy at 360.426.4815  Bring a brown bag lunch.

Summer Dance Social - August 7 and 28 Here's your opportunity to practice your new dance skills and socialize with friends.  7-9 pm

Pancake Breakfast- September 5, 8-11 am  Celebrate the end of summer with a delicious Pancake or French Toast breakfast at the MBC.  We're grilling sausage or ham, scrambled eggs and lots of coffee or juice! $7 per person;  kids 5 and  under free.

Craft Bazaar - October 10th, 9 am to 3 pm. We are looking for a few helpers with set up/tear down. This is a great time to start your Christmas shopping with some handcrafted local items!

Adopt a family for Christmas - Last year the MBC adopted needy families from the Grapeview school district for Christmas. Nancy Starr is coordinating with the school and with Mason/Benson residents to assemble whatever is needed.  Let's make this as successful as last years!

General Member Meeting  December 12th  10 am  We'll meet following the meeting to put up Christmas decorations.
